Recall and complaint safety record from NHTSA. This configuration has not been crash-tested.
CRASH
DATANot crash-tested
The Cadillac CT6-V is a high-performance full-size luxury sedan that occupied the top of Cadillac's lineup for model years 2019 and 2020. Powered by a twin-turbocharged V8, it was aimed squarely at enthusiast buyers who wanted American performance prestige to rival European alternatives. Production was limited, making it a rare but notable entry in the competitive large luxury sedan segment.
The 2019 Cadillac Ct6-V has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, so it carries no Safety Index. Its safety record here is built from 4 recalls and 15 owner complaints on file, giving it a light recall and complaint burden.
- shoppers who want the full federal safety picture in one place
Reviewers generally regard the CT6-V as a compelling but niche machine, praising its muscular powertrain and engaging driving dynamics while noting that its interior refinement and materials quality, though improved over earlier CT6 trims, still trail the benchmark feel of established European luxury competitors. Its exclusivity is seen as both part of its appeal and a practical limitation for long-term ownership.
