If a rating, recall, or complaint figure looks wrong, email us the vehicle (make, model, and year) and what you believe is incorrect. We verify against the live NHTSA record and correct promptly, and we log material corrections.

To check whether a specific vehicle is under an open recall, use NHTSA's own VIN lookup at nhtsa.gov/recalls. MotorCaliber shows recall history at the model-year level and is not a substitute for a VIN check.
