The Dodge Charger SRT is a high-performance variant of Dodge's full-size rear-wheel-drive sedan, sitting at the aggressive end of the American muscle car segment. Aimed squarely at performance enthusiasts who want serious power in a four-door body, the Charger SRT competes in a space where driving excitement often takes center stage over cautious, family-oriented priorities.
The 2020 Dodge Charger Srt has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, so it carries no Safety Index. Its safety record here is built from 3 recalls and 57 owner complaints on file, giving it a moderate recall and complaint burden.

Reviewers generally celebrate the Charger SRT for its visceral straight-line performance and distinctive presence, calling it one of the last true American muscle sedans. Most note that the interior materials and refinement feel a generation behind European rivals, and ride comfort on performance-tuned suspension can feel firm in daily driving. Value for the performance delivered is frequently cited as a genuine strength.
