CRASH
DATANot crash-tested
The Ford F-350 is a heavy-duty Super Duty pickup aimed squarely at buyers who need serious towing and hauling capability beyond what a half-ton can deliver. Sold as a full-size work truck and family hauler in a range of cab and bed configurations, it competes in one of the most demanding segments on the road. Its buyers tend to be contractors, fleet operators, and truck enthusiasts who prioritize capability above all else.
The 2024 Ford F-350 has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, so it carries no Safety Index. Its safety record here is built from 3 recalls and 42 owner complaints on file, giving it a moderate recall and complaint burden.

Reviewers generally praise the F-350 for its impressive towing and payload capabilities, noting that it feels refined for a truck of its size and purpose. Interior quality on higher trims draws positive attention, and the driving dynamics are considered composed given the vehicle's scale. Some reviewers note that the size and complexity of the platform can make everyday driving feel demanding for less experienced truck buyers.
