The Lexus RC 300 is a rear-wheel-drive luxury sport coupe that competes in a segment where style and driving feel matter as much as everyday practicality. Aimed at buyers who want a premium two-door with Lexus refinement and a sporty identity, the RC 300 sits as a niche but persistent offering in the brand's lineup, appealing to enthusiasts who prioritize aesthetics and brand cachet over pure utility.
The 2019 Lexus RC 300 has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, so it carries no Safety Index. Its safety record here is built from 2 recalls and 1 owner complaint on file, giving it a light recall and complaint burden.

Reviewers generally praise the RC 300 for its striking exterior design and the premium feel of its interior materials and cabin refinement. Driving dynamics are described as composed and engaging for a luxury coupe, though some reviewers note the rear-seat space and cargo practicality are limited by the body style. It is broadly seen as a strong value proposition within the Lexus luxury lineup.
