The 2024 Lexus TX is a three-row luxury midsize SUV aimed squarely at premium family haulers. Slotting above the RX in Lexus's lineup, it targets buyers who want genuine rear-seat space wrapped in the brand's signature refinement. It competes in a crowded segment alongside the Acura MDX and Lincoln Aviator, but carries Lexus's reputation for understated, upscale execution.
The 2024 Lexus Tx has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, so it carries no Safety Index. Its safety record here is built from 4 recalls and 39 owner complaints on file, giving it a light recall and complaint burden.
- shoppers who want the full federal safety picture in one place
Reviewers generally praise the TX for its polished cabin materials, composed ride quality, and upscale interior presentation that feels appropriate for its price point. Most find the driving dynamics smooth if not particularly engaging, and note that rear-seat space is a genuine step forward for the Lexus SUV lineup. Value relative to German competitors is frequently cited as a strength.
