The Nissan NV200 is a compact cargo and passenger van aimed squarely at small business owners, urban delivery operators, and fleet managers who need a maneuverable, right-sized workhorse. Sold in both cargo and Taxi/passenger configurations, it occupies a practical niche in the light commercial van segment, competing for buyers who prioritize urban usability over heavy-duty hauling capacity.
The 2020 Nissan Nv200 has not been crash-tested by NHTSA, so it carries no Safety Index. Its safety record here is built from 1 recall and 0 owner complaints on file, giving it a light recall and complaint burden.

Reviewers generally find the NV200 well-suited to tight urban environments, praising its compact footprint and practical cargo layout. Cabin refinement and interior materials are typically described as utilitarian rather than polished, and driving dynamics are considered adequate for a commercial van rather than engaging. Most assessments position it as a sensible, no-frills tool for small fleets and city-based operators.
